  • As with any medical examination, you will be asked to remove at least your outer clothing and, depending on the treatment required, possibly undress to your underwear, so please wear something you are comfortable in.
  • Some deep soft tissue treatment may cause discomfort during treatment. Your osteopath will tell you what to expect and will want you to let her know if you are in pain. You may feel stiff or sore after treatment. This is a normal, healthy response to the treatment.
  • Yes - if you wish, you can have someone present throughout your consultation and treatment.
  • You do not need to see your doctor first if you are paying for your own treatment. However, some insurance companies require you to see your doctor first.
  • The cost of treatment depends on the condition and age of the person we are treating. The current charges are as follows:

Initial consultation with examination and treatment: £60 (approx. 1 hour)

    Follow-up treatment: £40

    One-hour treatment: £60

    One-hour deep tissue massage: £50

Terms & Conditions: The above charges are subject to change. Missed appointments and cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointed time are subject to a cancellation fee.
  • The number of treatments you need depends on the condition and person we are treating. We aim to keep your appointments to a minimum. Your osteopath will be able to tell you within a short period of time whether she can treat you or if she needs to refer you to someone else.
  • The clinic maintains specialist status with insurance companies including AXA-PPP; WPA; AVIVA; SIMPLY HEALTH; and many others.

Your own insurance provider may have specific terms for covering the cost of your treatment, so you may wish to contact them for further details.

  • Pills are small round 'globules', you will receive them in a small glass bottle.

The medicating substance is on the outside of homeopathic pills so it is best to handle them as little as possible. I suggest the following method:-

When you need to take a dose, open the bottle and tip a pill into the lid of the bottle. You can then flick the pill from the lid into your mouth.

Pills can be swallowed, sucked or chewed as they taste sweet.

Take remedies away from food and drink other than water, try to avoid taking them around the time you usually clean your teeth
  • The first appointment will take just over one hour and costs £60.
Follow up appointments last up to 45 minutes and cost £40

If you need a short appointment for an acute problem such as tooth ache, flu or stomach bug I have 15min slots which cost £15 which includes remedies
  • Children respond well to homeopathic treatment as they tend to have less complicated case histories and are extremely adaptable.

I treat children from young through adolescence Often it is for a minor acute, but also to help with physical conditions such as eczema, asthma, hayfever and stomach complaints.

I have a particular interest in helping adolescents with mental health issues including school aversion and simply coping with modern society. Working with this age group has helped not only the individual but the family as a whole
